Alex Mercier is a Los Angeles native by way of Altadena and Inglewood. His father was a well-known massage therapist in LA and by tagging along with him to house calls, Alex was first introduced to the practice around the age of six.

At that young age, Alex’s first massage experience came from working on his dad’s hands and shoulders after dinner. Those years were quite formative and instilled a deep respect for the work, as well as a desire to support others in their healing journeys, just as he’d seen his father do. 

After 7 years of working at the intersection of the Tech and Entertainment industries, Alex decided to pursue massage more seriously, enrolling at the School of Integrative Psycho Structural Bodywork (IPSB).

With 4 years of steady persistence, Alex completed the 550-hour Integrative Massage and Bodywork program and earned his statewide certification in January 2025.

Alex describes this process as healing and transformative, and as a journey that is now just beginning.
